Gammelbyn - Holiday Village Gammelbyn is located in Northern Värmland at Lake Rattsjön, close to Hovfjället alpine centre and nature reserve. 22 “Tyrolian style” timber huts, 4-6 beds, equipped with pantry and bathroom. Gammelbyn has a restaurant, conference rooms, sauna, Finnish smoke-sauna at the lakeside and a pub in a rustic timber “barn”. The area with its remote forests and many lakes is perfect for hiking, canoeing, biking and fishing; the necessary equipment is available on the spot. Guided and individual tours are possible.
