In and around Valfjällsbyn are some fantastic opportunities for company outings, scouting, dog camp, sport, etc. This is an ideal environment for all types of camping activities.

In the area:
Valfjället ski resort with five lifts and a longest run of 1350 metres, illuminated ski trails, swimming and fishing. Beautiful landscape for berry and mushroom picking and an orienteering course. Barbecue areas, sauna, playground and a pond with dinghies for children. Football pitch available for hire.

Gray and white elk, beaver, wilderness and a 20 km moderate hiking trail to Skillingmark which can also be combined with canoeing and cycling. Eda golf club, about 4 km.
