In the heart of Stockholm’s archipelago, only 20 km east of Stockholm, is the municipality of Värmdö with its rich cultural history and varied archipelago landscape encompassing well-known islands like Grinda, Möja and Sandhamn. The municipality is made up entirely of islands, yet you can reach the central town of Gustavsberg with its famous porcelain factory in just twenty minutes. Värmdö's tourist information centre is located in the Gustavsberg Porcelain Museum, situated in the old factory area, which is now Gustavberg’s harbour. Besides the museum, there is an art gallery, 3 factory shops selling porcelain and ceramics, 2 antique shops and several restaurants and cafés. Directions: By car: Route 222 towards Gustavsberg, after about 20 km take the exit to Gustavsberg and "Värmdö Marknad". After about 2 km, turn left at Farstaviken.
