The Stockholm Transport museum tells the story of public transport in Stockholm. In a fun, exciting and educational way we show what public traffic meant to the area of Stockholm since the first horse drawn trams made their appearance in 1877. The documentation of the public traffic sector and the collections are amongst the most complete in the whole of the country. The exhibitions are geared towards children as well as adults. Our vintage car section offers the visitor and tourists many experiences in how one travelled in the old days. We also have a mini-subway for children wich operates every day.
